Summary​

Self taught computer programmer with experience in Python, JavaScript and Go. Highly motivated to learn new technologies and languages as required. Furthermore I have experience using PostgreSQL.

Technical Skills​

Intermediate skills in Python using the Flask and Django frameworks. I also have experience with JavaScript using Node.js and the Express.js framework. I am currently learning Go.

In terms of databases I'm using PostgreSQL and PostGIS which I have a basic knowledge of.

I also have experience using Git and Github for managing source code and am learning Github Actions for continuous integration and continuous deployment.

I use Podman when it comes to running containers on my development machine.

I run a Google Workspace account for both personal and business use and am thus familar with Google's online office suite.

Current and Future Learning​

I am currently trying to teach myself electronics by reading through "The Art of Electronics" books with the aim of getting into robotics. As I get nearer to my goals I'll also have to get involved in 3D printing.

Furthermore microcontrollers often require using Assembly or C for development so that is something else I'll need to learn at some point.

In addition to the above I'm planning on learning machine learning and quantum computing.
